Noah Wells

Commons Council President

Noah is very proud to be your Commons Council President for the 2017-2018 school year! He is a sophomore, double majoring in EMIS and Finance, who is also involved with Southern Gentlemen (SMU's male a cappella group) and Theta Tau Fraternity (Engineering Fraternity). In his free time he enjoys participating in almost all intramural sports and discovering the best places to eat in Dallas.

He served as the VS President for the second semester of last year, and liked the job so much that he decided to come back for a full year. He is dedicated to building a unique identity and strong sense of community within this commons, so that every resident can have a memorable and productive college experience!


Frankie York

Chief of Staff

Frankie is a junior from New Caney, TX and is studying Journalism. She loves photography, concerts, food, and animals and believe it or not can sing every line from multiple Broadway musicals.

Jessica Mason

Vice President of Events

Jessica is a sophomore from Ardmore, OK majoring in Engineering Management, Information, and Systems. Outside of VS, Jessica is student athlete and competes for the SMU rowing team.

Joel Booth

Director of Intramurals

Joel is a sophomore from Lake Jackson, TX majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a Biomedical Specialization. He also is the Peer Academic Leader for VS.

Margo Schoenberg

Director of Communications

Margo is from Bala Cynwyd, PA majoring in Math and Pre-med. This year she will be a sophomore and fun fact-- she spent 11 months living in VS her first year.

Melanie Ekizian


Director of Programming

Melanie is a sophomore from Tampa, FL planning to major in Public Relations and Strategic Communication. Aside from CC, this past year, she spent most of her time helping with Program Council events.  Her claim to fame is her lucky streak during her junior year of high school when she won 6 radio contests in 4 months.

Dylan Colbert

Director of Hall Improvement Funds

Dylan is the Director of Hall Improvement Funds. He's a sophomore majoring in electrical engineering from Plano, TX. Some of the organizations he's involved with include Engineering Without Borders, Mustang Heroes, and Alternative Breaks. He is also fluent in Spanish.
